    Life through a frame.

    "Glass"

Day 1 - I took this photagraph in the house of a friend while her mother was sharing drinks. It embodies the way I view life. Some view the glass as half full, others view the glass as half empty. Some of us focus on the negative, and some of us focus on the positive. I decided to put the frame on the counter and take the picture from top to bottom to grasp the concept.

    "Dull and life"

Day 2-  Outside of my school a vender was selling fruits and I saw a basket full of apples. The reason I chose to photagraph these apples is for the emphasis on repitition, and also the metaphor of life I took from the apples. Sometimes things are dull (the green shade in the apple), but their will always be moments of joy and excitement (the red shade). The abundance of apples to represent the repitition of all these dull and exciting moments reacurring constantly through out our lives.

"Life is a book, life is a story!"

Day 3- I spend an afternoon at Barnes and Noble and I decided to photagraph these books. Books obtain stories usually of essential aspects of life such as love, tragedies, comedies, and memoirs. Since this project is a reflection of life through a frame I decided to photagraph books because I believe books and writings in general are a documentation of life.

    "Warhol"

Day 4 - I took this photagraph at the supermarket. The moral of this photo was the emphasis on reptition. Life is monotonous at times and we all seem to be living a repetitive, cycle like life. I feel at times that I am always doinf the same thing, which is studying and home work and work itself. Sometimes things lack excitiement and are just repetitive and boring such as all the cans and stacked shelves at grocery stores.

    "Ordinary"

Day 5 - Walking outside of the mall I decided to take the photo of a tree. Life and tree's are very similar. The roots and trunk of a tree are very importanting, and its the first part of a tree which also embodies are first years of life. Are first years of life define who we are, and is a key indicator of how we are going to be in the future. Traits we have when we are young usually stay with us, the only difference is that as we grow older we learn more and we evolve as the top of the tree does. It burst into an abundance of leaves which makes it a tree in the end and all the little leaves are important into making the tree. I believe this relates to actual life in the sense that every single thing molds is into who we are, such as all the leaves end forming a tree. Through this photagraph I tried to emphasize the tree as its meant to stand out being placed infront of a white wall.

" We all deteriorate, we all fall"

Day 6 - I decided to photagraph medicine bottles in my grandmothers house. I noticed the repitition because all the bottles looked alike and the movement as some bottles were standing and some had fallen. I assosiated this with life because when were young were all filled with life, and as we grow older we start to deteriorate and we need more and more medication to help keep our lives.

Day 7-  This first photagraph is called "Life as we make it!" I chose a wall with a primary color that was assymetrical to portray a design and just a flatly painted wall; to portray excitement and to portray sameness, consistency and lacking of excitment.

The second photagraph  is called " planets " has the element of repitition and hence emphasis. Their is a triadic form in between the two balls and the basket in which the balls are resting on.

The third photagraph is called " Interlocking cycle " it portrays repitition, movement, and emphasis. It's a chamber lock of hearts and its a metaphor to life. The heart's that we want sometimes want someone elses heart instead of ours and its an ongoing cycle.
